Puppets and Photographic are some often-overlooked Depeche Mode classics. Dark and catchy. Photographic is like a classic Numan track, with all the menace but none of the rigidity; this song flows very nicely and still sounds stark.

It has been one of my favorites from their first album in 1981 called “Speak & Spell”.

I played around it a bit and here’s the result.
